A Designated Activities (Future Creation Individual J-Find) visa is granted to foreign nationals who have graduated from outstanding universities overseas and who wish to engage in entrepreneurial or job-hunting activities in Japan. The maximum period of stay is two years.
The Future Creation Individual System (J-Find) was introduced in April 2023. This Designated Activities visa is given to talented foreign graduates of top overseas universities who wish to conduct job-hunting or entrepreneurial preparatory activities in Japan. They can live in Japan for a maximum of two years.

You must have graduated from a university or completed a graduate school program at a university that has been ranked within the top 100 in at least two of the three world university rankings (※1), and have been awarded a degree or professional degree.

You must have graduated from an eligible university or completed a graduate program and been awarded a degree or professional degree within the past five years.
When applying, the applicant (foreign national) must have at least 200,000 yen in savings.
